Ordering

We have tried to make ordering as simple as possible; once you have found the product you are interested in simply click the button to add it it your basket. If the button is greyed out this just means that you have to choose which colour/size/style of product it is that you would like to receive. Choose the correct option from the drop down menu and the button will become clickable.

If you find that items in your basket vanish when you click through to a different page you will need make sure your computer has cookies turned on - like most retail sites, we rely on cookies to help transfer your details from page to page. 99% of the time this will fix the problem!

Once you have added all the items you would like to buy to your basket, click through the checkout. If you arent logged in to your account you will be asked to either enter your log in details or set up a new account. The details you give here must be the registered/billing address of your credit/debit card. This may not necessarily be the address you live at/have statements delivered to (if in doubt please ask your bank). (The delivery p&p is calculated using your billing address, if you change the country you would like to have your order delivered (by entering an alternate address where prompted) to this will be recalculated for you.)

When you have submitted your billing details you will be returned to the checkout and have the option to enter an alternate delivery address and choose your delivery speed (UK orders only)

Finally, double check that your order & address information is correct, enter your card details and sit back and wait for the postie.



Safe & Secure Payment

All card payment details are taken through a secure server. Before entering your credit/debit card details on this, or any other, site check for the padlock symbol in the bottom right corner of your screen and also that the URL starts http://wwws.

Please note: We may ask for verification of ID to safeguard your card against online fraud, please do not take offence!

Our online ordering system is more secure than handing over your card details in any restaurant/shop, however if you would prefer not to order online, please either phone us on 01438 746580 with your order & card details, or send a cheque or postal order (in pounds sterling (£) and made payable to Gold Leaf) to the following address:

Out of Stock items
If an item says expected delivery in around 1-2 weeks, this item is currently out of stock with us. We still give you the opportunity to buy the product however please understand that very occasionally we will not be able to deliver the item within that timeframe. We will always give you the option of cancelling your order if this is the case.

Delivery

We aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days when the items are in stock. When items are not immediately available we aim to despatch within 5 working days however, please allow up to 2 weeks as many of our items are delivered from overseas. You can track your order online at any time by logging into your account and following the order tracker.

If your order is over £10 and you would like standard delivery in the UK, postage is FREE

In addition we offer 3 different postage options.

UK orders:

• Royal Mail 1st class £3.50 Items are usually delivered the next working day, including Saturday.

• Royal Mail next day delivery £5.95. (mainland UK orders only) For items ordered before 3pm mon-fri. Orders are delivered before 1pm the next working day, (Saturday delivery depends on your postal area - we can not guarantee this). This service is only available on items that are in stock and is not available for all products due to size/weight restrictions. It will be stated on the product description if this is not applicable.

• Royal Mail 2nd class £2.50 Only available for orders under £10. Items are usually delivered within 3-5 working days, including Saturday.

Non UK orders:

• Within Europe £5.00 Items are sent via International Signed For Airmail and usually delivered within three working days to Western Europe & four working days to Eastern Europe

• Rest of the world £10.00 Items are sent via International Signed For Airmail and usually delivered within 5 working days.
All local taxes/import charges are the buyers responsibility

If you wish an order to be delivered on a certain day, please email us, quoting your name & order reference number, and we will despatch the order for delivery on that day if possible.

Product Pricing

All products on our site are priced in UK pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. The price you see is the price you pay - we do not opperate a dual price band for purchases made from outside the EC.

We obviously strive to present the correct prices on the site at all times, if we find we have made a pricing mistake with an item you have ordered we will contact you to tell you the ammended price and to ask whether you wish to proceed with the transaction. If you decide not to any monies taken will be refunded immediately to your credit/debit card.
